Inspiration always beats motivation

Sometimes things feel hard and sometimes things just feel so effortless, and a MASSIVE chunk of that comes down to Inspiration. It’s important that we understand the difference between “inspiration” and “motivation”.

Sometimes things feel hard and sometimes things just feel so effortless, and a MASSIVE chunk of that comes down to Inspiration. It’s important that we understand the difference between “inspiration” and “motivation”.

Motivation is an adjective, it’s momentary, it usually involves doing something you probably don’t want to do “I need to motivate myself to get off the couch”

The word Inspiration means to be in spirit, inspiration comes from a completely different place, It’s comes from within.

Inspiration is long lasting > Motivation is momentary.

Inspiration comes from within > Motivation comes from the outside.

Inspiration pulls you > Motivation pushes you.

It’s really quite simple, inspiration gives you motivation. It’s a beautiful thing, it’s deeper than a word, it’s belief and it’s heavily attached to an idea.

So don’t look for “motivation” go beyond that! Ask yourself things like –

“Why am I doing this?”

“What does this mean to me?”

“What difference will it make if I am successful?”
